I’ve had a M88 for a couple years now and chose it for the following reasons:
Unlocked – out of the box
quad band GSM
camera on front AND back (2 yrs before iphone)
removable/replacable battery
changeable memory cards
Thousands of FREE apps
MS Office, Java & Adobe PDF standard

The only thing I don’t like is the power/audio connector. But it’s one connector instead of 2 so I can live with it.
